All dogs in training, boarding or Day Camp with The Mannered Mutt, LLC are required to have the Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), and Distemper/Parvo combination. The Influenza vaccine is recommended. Boarding and Day Camp are available only to dogs who have graduated from one of our training programs.
It is the owner’s responsibility to provide us with a copy of your pet’s most recent, up-to-date vaccine report from your Vet.

The Mannered Mutt, LLC does not accept home-administered vaccines, hand-written vaccines, or sticker/checkmark booklets and require all vaccines to be administered by a licensed veterinarian.
Dogs participating in any services at The Mannered Mutt MUST be current on Rabies, DHPP, & Bordetella as well as on flea prevention.
Your dog’s health while staying with us is our priority, physically AND mentally. To ensure the best possible experience while with us for your dog, we need YOUR help. Before bringing your dog to us for training, boarding or day camp, please check that your dog does not exhibit any of the following:
Keeping your pet home if they are feeling under the weather and/or exhibiting any signs of illness, you are helping us to maintain a healthy environment for all our guests.
If your pet is currently on medication, we will gladly administer their medicine during their stay. If your pet is taking medication that could affect its life (newly diagnosed seizures, diabetics, etc.) we ask that you board at a veterinary medical facility equipped to care for your pet in the event life saving measures need to be taken.
By leaving/bringing your pet to The Mannered Mutt for any of our services, you are agreeing to our Terms of Service. It is important that you read this agreement as it will contain important information that you’ll need to know. If you would like a hard copy, simply ask staff. Should you have any questions, please contact us PRIOR to your arrival date.
All dogs WILL BE required to have all vaccinations. Dogs need Rabies, DHPP and Kennel Cough. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have these on file. Any willful misrepresentation of vaccine coverage will be grounds for immediate removal from training, boarding or Day Camp.
The Mannered Mutt, herein referred to as TMM, reserves the right to immediately change your dog’s boarding or Day Camp arrangements if we believe it is necessary to protect the health and well-being of your pet, other pets, or a staff member.
All dogs must be on a flea/tick preventative before arriving for training, boarding or Day Camp. If your dog is found to have fleas, he/she will be treated at your expense. The expense for this will be $15.
There is a $5 per day charge for your pet to be fed “in-house” food. We highly encourage you to bring food that your pet is currently on. This will prevent a change in diet and the possible upset stomach and digestive system fallout that is common when switching foods.
Pet owner understands the risks involved when dogs play together. Dogs in boarding and Day Camp may play with other dogs. Although we will offer utmost care, the unpredictable nature of dogs can sometimes lead to injuries.
Pet owner understands that The Mannered Mutts liability, of any circumstance related to the dog, will not exceed the current value of a pet of the same breed as the one in our care. TMM will do everything possible to ensure a safe environment for your pet while staying with us.
Should your pet require medical attention, you will be notified and the pet will be treated at your discretion. If an emergency should arise, then we will take immediate steps to have your pet treated. By leaving your pet here, you authorize The Mannered Mutt to admit your pet on your behalf to a Vet chosen by TMM Staff. All expenses related to your pet will be the responsibility of the owner.
Boarding charges are incurred on a per night basis. Drop-off and pick-up are by appointment during our regular hours: Monday to Friday 7 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 7 AM to 12 PM, and Sunday 4 PM to 6 PM. We are closed on major holidays.
BY LEAVING YOUR PET WITH THE MANNERED MUTT
1) You indicate your agreement with all of the terms stated herein.
2) You acknowledge the risks of group play. Dogs playing together can sometimes result in injuries or spreading of such illnesses as Canine Cough (Kennel Cough) or other spreadable illnesses.
3) You authorize The Mannered Mutt to obtain medical and vaccination records for your pet from the Veterinarian listed and you hereby authorize your Vet to provide these records to TMM.
